Beauty and the Beast was a wonderful movie to watch with my kids and husband! The visual effects were stunning, and the original songs a delight to my ears! I admire the scriptwriters' creativity in cleaning up the plot holes and adding dimension to Le Fou. Emma Watson's singing was a pleasure to hear, and Dan Steven's "Evermore" was powerful and soaring. If you enjoyed watching Cinderella or La La Land, this is the movie for you! Bravo, Alan Condon.

I don't know about you guys, but I was left thinking "What was the bloody point? and came out feeling underwhelmed as everything felt weaker compared to the 1991 original. Emma Watson is not very good as Belle, and they didn't change it enough to make it stand out like The Jungle Book or Pete's Dragon remake. Disney felt really lazy here, sadly. I hope we see more effort in the future rather than just 90% the exact same movie.
4.5/10. This movie could not have been better! They stuck to the original songs, the original plot. The casting was spot on. A perfect Belle & Beast! Just phenomenal! The yellow dress was just fabulous. I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was hard not to sing along in the theater! The acting was superb, very touching.
